Cobaki Broadwater Village is the great alternative lifestyle for the over
50’s age group. Set on 110 acres with it’s own beautiful lake
that is stocked with fish and home to the beautiful black swans and many
other bird life. The local bird watchers society is a regular visitor to
the village and have recorded over 70 varieties of wonderful birds. Cobaki
Broadwater Village has its own boat ramp for those keen to do a spot of fishing
or just cruise into the Broadwater.
Resident walkers enjoy the security of the walking track and the wide roads of the village for their early morning stroll. The landscaped gardens and many palms offer a serene lifestyle in a Community atmosphere. The village bus transports residents to all major shopping centres, clubs, medical centres etc. six times a day. This unique service is free to all Residents of Cobaki Broadwater Village.
The Community Centres at Cobaki are the perfect place to socialise
with friends and enjoy any of the daily activities. The Centre is very popular
for the outstanding shows being performed by the Cobaki Theatre Group. The
Social Club is very active with regular supper clubs and many more events
being held all year round. The Denis King Centre is an afternoon meeting
place for the ‘Snooker’ players that hold regular competitions
and social gatherings. Cobaki library is very well stocked with thousands
of books, jigsaw puzzles and videos for those who wish to have some quiet
time. There are many other activities including regular trips and tours besides
the functions held within the village.
Charity begins at home and Cobaki can stand very proud with their generosity
by holding an annual fundraiser for Camp Quality that has raised many thousands
of dollars during the past 12 years. Security is an important inclusion at
Cobaki with the installation of a 24 hour monitoring system. There is on
site management with independent security checks and patrols that offer the
residents a feeling of being safe at all times.
Newspaper and magazine delivery service to your front door seven days a week from the local newsagent. Postage stamps, photocopying, faxes are some of the services available from the main office. All residents have their own keyed letterbox plus a public red letter box for mailing out. Parcels are delivered directly to the resident by Australia Post.
